"A lot has changed since I first came to campus in 1937 - but not everything! The support of loyal alumni and friends of the College has been important since my own student days. And the sense of community I experienced then is still very much part of our tradition. Thank you for your generosity to the Tower Fund. Your donation helps keep the College going strong." Sister Timothy Kirby '39 with friend Leah Hoge '11 Sister Timothy Kirby is celebrating her 70th class anniversary. Leah Hoge will graduate with a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy in spring 2011. |
No. Tower Fund gifts of all sizes are very important. Besides the positive financial impact, every gift increases the College's participation rate, which is among the criteria used by organizations that rank colleges and universities. And because your gift is not endowed, it will impact students immediately. The College hopes all current donors will continue their support, and if they are in a position to do so, increase their level of support. Alumni, parents and friends who have not given before are strongly encouraged to do so now at a level at which they are comfortable.
Participation is the key to a successful Tower Fund!

"Four generations of our family have attended St. Scholastica. As students we all benefitted from the support of earlier Tower Fund donors. We encourage you to join us in supporting today's students by giving to the Tower Fund." All gifts to the College, no matter the designation, are recognized in the Annual Report of Donors published each fall for the previous fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Gifts that qualify a donor for a giving club are also recognized at the beginning of the annual donor lists.
Every gift to the College is valuable and is recognized in an annual giving club. In addition to the satisfaction of supporting the College and its students, special benefits await members at each giving club level.

If your employer offers a matching gift program, the impact of your personal gift can be even greater.
Taking advantage of this employee benefit helps your employer support the charitable causes important to you. Since your matching gift is credited to your personal giving record, it may move you into a higher giving club.
