| Don’t be fooled by e-mail and web “phishing” scams that ask you to verify certain information such as passwords, account and PIN numbers, and other personal information. Most phishing scams masquerade as bank account, e-bay account or PayPal notices or sweepstakes offers.
You will never be asked to verify account information via e-mail from a legitimate organization. |
