Information Regarding Summer Housing at CSS

Living on campus during the summer provides our students an opportunity to meet new people and experience a vibrant, diverse living community.   During the summer months, the College hosts many guests throughout the summer in its residence halls.  These guests range from long-term senior citizen renters, alumni, baseball teams, families, educational conferences attendees, seminarians, high-schools students, and Grandma's Marathon runners.  

This web site provides students information regarding the College's summer lease options.  The summer rental program for students begins May 22 and ends July 31, 2013.   Please be sure to review the Summer Housing Timeline for information regarding transitional housing for the end of may and early August.

Summer Lease Options for Students

CSS Students - Currently living on Campus and living on campus Fall 2013

Rent for the summer will be $875, plus a $50 deposit payable with application. The remainder will be placed on your student account in May. Current CSS On-Campus Students living on Campus this Spring and next Fall Housing Contract (current CSS students only).  Please note:  Student Health Services will be available to our summer student renters and a $50 summer health fee will be assessed to students who sign  this lease.  

ALL Non-CSS Students (living with CSS students)
Rent for the summer will be $750 plus a $250 damage deposit. You will be required to pay the entire amount with your application. This deposit will be held for any damages that are incurred during the rental period. At the end of this period, money not used to pay for damages, will be returned by September 30, 2013. If you have any questions, please call 218-723-6391. Non-CSS Student Summer Housing Contract. This rental period begins May 22 and ends July 31, 2013. We will be unable to provide accomodations past July 31, 2013, so please plan accordingly.  

CSS Students graduating Spring 2013 - Current CSS students who are graduating this Spring but would like to live on campus this summer the rental period ends on July 31, 2013. We will be unable to provide accomodations past July 31, 2013, so please plan accordingly.  Please note:  Student Health Services will be available to our summer student renters and a $50 summer health fee will be assessed to students who sign  this lease.   Current CSS Students not returning Fall Housing Contract  

CSS Student Short-Term Housing Contract - Student who need to live on campus over the summer but for a limited period of time. The fee shall be $20.00/day, not to exceed the $875.00 fee for the summer.  Please note:  Student Health Services will be available to our summer student renters and a $50 summer health fee will be assessed to students who sign  this lease.   Please note:  Student Health Services will be available to our summer student renters and a $50 summer health fee will be assessed to students who sign  a short term contract for 30 days or more.  CSS Student Summer Short Term Housing Contract.

** If you print a copy of the housing contract on-line, please print a second copy for your records. You will not receive an additional copy from Residential Life.
