First Aid Kit for College

Suggested First Aid Kit 

• Antibacterial soap
• Antibacterial wipes
• Hand sanitizer, pocket size and room size
• Band-Aids (various sizes)
• Neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment
• Ibuprofen or acetaminophen for fever or pain
• Thermometer
• Cold packs
• Ace or elastic bandage
• Antacid tablets or liquid
• Heating pad
• Cold medicine (daytime and nighttime)
• Throat lozenges
• Cough drops
• Benadryl or antihistamine tablet (for allergies)
• Hydrocortisone cream (itching/swelling relief)
• Tweezer

A simple "medicine chest" in your room with items you are familiar with can provide comfort.   Stop by  Student Health Service if you need an evaluation and more over-the-counter medications.
