Parents Council
MISSION
The Parents Council (PC) will be comprised of current St. Scholastica parents with a shared interest in and responsibility to
- communicate matters of interest to the College from the perspective of parents of students,
- participate in the communication efforts of the College to the parent community concerning matters of interest to parents of students,
- serve as a resource to St. Scholastica students in areas of mutual interest, including careers, internships, and community service,
- participate in parent and family events and activities sponsored by the College to include, but not limited to, move-in weekend, homecoming, and commencement, and
- participate with the College in nurturing a tradition of parent giving.
TERM
There is no set term for membership to the Parents Council, with the exception that members can only serve for as long as
- their student is attending the College, and
- they remain active in supporting the mission of the College by attending and participating in meetings and participate in parent activities sponsored by the PAC.
MEETINGS
There will be three meetings per year in the winter, spring and summer.
