Grants up to $1,000 for research on the history of Europe, Africa and Asia. Applicants must be members of the American Historical Association. Preference given to Ph.D. candidates and junior scholars.

Arrowhead Regional Arts Council - McKnight/ARAC Individual Artist Career Development Grants
Development grants are designed to provide financial support to developing and established regional artists wishing to take advantage of artist generated or impending, concrete opportunites that will advance their work or careers.  Artists working in the visual, literar, or performing arts are eligible to apply.  Applicants may request grants of up to $1,000.

Minnesota State Arts Board - Artist Initiative Grants
This program supports and assists artists at various stages in their careers. It encourages artistic development, nurtures artistic creativity, and recognizes the contributions individual artists make to the creative environment of the state of Minnesota.  Grants range from $2,000 to $10,000.

Minnesota State Arts Board - Cultural Community Partnership Grants
This program is designed to enhance the careers of individual artists of color. Artists, at any stage in their careers, can apply for grants to help support a collaborative project. An applicant can collaborate with another Minnesota artist of color or a Minnesota nonprofit organization. Grants range from $1,000 to $8,000.
