Fitness Goals
Setting goals is such an important part of designing an exercise program that will work for you. Goals need to provide two key ingredients: provide direction and enhance motivation. While it may help you to include goals such as "have fun" or "be more social," it is more valuable to create objective goals that help you measure what you want to achieve.
Principles of Goal Setting:
1. Set specific goals.
2. Set moderately difficult but realistic goals.
3. Set long and short term goals.
4. Record your progress towards your goals.
5. Develop goal achievement strategies with your SHAPE UP mentor.
