Intramurals

The Intramural Sports program is one of the most popular extracurricular activities at St. Scholastica with over 1,600 students, faculty, and staff participating in our 20+ leagues, tournaments, and other special events. IM sports is a great way to meet new people, continue playing the sports you love, and learn fun, new sports along the way.  Intramural sports offers men's, women's, co-rec, and open opportunities in team, dual, and individual sports in which participants compete for the Intramural Championship t-shirt, House Cup Championship, and the IM a SAINT Sportsmanship Award! Form your own team or register as a FREE AGENT to get picked up by teams looking for more players.  The IM staff organizes the leagues and tournaments, officiates games, and monitors and tracks league standings. All you have to do is show up to play, have a good time, and be a good sport.

Recreational - Wednesdays, 8-11:00 PM (Fieldhouse)

Co-rec teams battle it out in these two leagues that are sure to get you ready for local summer sand leagues. Teams must play with an equal or greater number of women than men. A minimum of 4 players is required to start each game.

* Teams with varsity women’s volleyball players or Club volleyball players MUST play in the advanced league. A maximum number of 2 varsity or club players is allowed per team.

Playground Games League (open)- NEW!!!

Remember how fun it was to be a kid on the playground at school and how you looked forward to PE class each week?! Live like a child again with this fun, new intramural league. We’ve come up with some of your favorite playground and PE childhood games. Open teams of 4 will battle it out to be CSS’s Playground Champs this spring. Here’s a few of the best games we can remember: Freeze Tag, 4-Square, Obstacle Courses, Double Dutch, Big Base, SPUD, Lightning, H-O-R-S-E, Cops & Robbers, Relay Races, and more! This is one Intramural league you don't want to miss out on!!!!

Co-Rec – Sundays, 7-11:00 PM (Fieldhouse)

New this year, we’ve changed the league format to allow for more IM Champions – one Champ for each of the 3 divisions! Players can only play in either the men’s/women’s league or the co-rec leagues, not both. Due to the large number of teams, we want to provide as many opportunities for other individuals to play.

Co-Rec Ultimate Frisbee League – NEW!!!
Thursdays, 8-11:00 PM (Fieldhouse)

“Ultimate Thursdays” is a new league we are offering this spring. Teams of 4 will enjoy this new indoor league this spring. You’ll get an intense, fast-paced workout and have fun with friends at the same time. Teams must play with an equal or greater number of women than men.
