Big Questions, Small Groups
Small Groups are small faith sharing groups of about 5-10 people that meet once a week for 6 weeks or more during a semester. New topics are chosen each semester. Small Groups are facilitated by members of the Peer Ministry Team. Stop by Campus Ministry to sign up for a group during the first few weeks of each semester.
For a current list of Small Groups click here.
Faith in a Flash is a dinner and faith-based discussion session that comes with a one hour guarantee. Faith in a Flash is offered periodically with a new topic each time. Past topics have included: "Sport's Team =God's Team ?" (What does being on a sports team teach us about being a disciple?) and "What is Eco-Spirituality?" Watch the Campus Ministry newsletter and the calendar for future opportunities.
Get to know the women who started The College of St. Scholastica! Opportunities will be offered for social, spiritual and educational events with the sisters throughout the year. Students who want to get involved should sign up early in the fall. Stop by Campus Ministry for more information.
Big Questions, Small Groups (BQSG)
Are you wondering where God is leading your life? Are you interested in sharing your spiritual journey with a small group? BQSG involves a dynamic process of listening, sharing, and responding to others in a small group setting. Groups are formed in the fall and are made up of four to five female students and two facilitators--one Sister and one faculty/staff member. BQSG meet monthly to share, listen, and respond to God's voice through the sharing of daily experiences--and share a meal or refreshments together! Spirit Seekers is open to freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior students. Contact cministry@css.edu for more information.
