In addition, The Gerontology minor is an excellent complement to most majors. By the year 2030, 1 in 5 Americans will be age 65 years or older. In Minnesota, the number of older adults is expected to double in the next 25 years. No matter your field of work, you will be likely to work with some-or many older adults. Several of the courses that fulfill the requirements for the Gerontology minor also fulfill requirements for other majors and minors.
