May 04, 2005 An ATHENSUpdate

Newest Great News:

HSC alumni are responding well to our request for their authorizations to use their medical records for the purpose of abstracting the clinical case data to populate the ATHENS HER with relevant, current cases for use with students. We hope to create up to 25 of these cases over the summer.

Christy May hired as Clinical Data Abstractor to support the clinical case building activity throughout Summer 2005. She will be working at St. Mary's Medical Center and will be supervised by the ATHENS Project Director and Technology Lead.

We are very pleased that the Social Work Department faculty and students will become ATHENS users commencing academic year 2005-2006.
