Faculty Leads
Larry Birnbaum, Ph.D, MA, EPC Exercise Physiology Larry has been an Associate Professor in the Exercise Physiology Department for 2 years. Prior to that he was with the Clinic Laboratory Science Department for 11 years and a Chair of that department for 8 years. His professional practice area of special interests are research, cardiac electrophysiology and biomechanics. His interest in serving as a faculty lead stems from an interest in technology, improving quality in health care using technology. 
Beth Donahue, MA, RN Nursing - Undergraduate Beth has been an Assistant Professor in the Nursing Department for eleven years. Her professional practice area of special interests is Acute Care Nursing. Her interest in serving as co- faculty lead stems from enhancing the clinical experiences for nursing students and providing the opportunity for interdisciplinary experiences. Carolyn Dorfman, MS, OTR Occupational Therapy
Carolyn has been an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Department for nine years. Her professional practice area of special interests is neurorehabilitation. Her interest in serving as a faculty lead stems form wanting more interdisciplinary and hands on activities for students and the opportunity for students to learn a computerized documentation system. Sally Fauchald, PhD, RN Graduate Nursing
Sally has been an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing since 2003. Sallly's professional practice area is as an adult Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her research interests are community-based research, health policy, and technology applications in advanced practice nursing education. Her interest in serving as an ATHENS faculty lead for the graduate nursing department is to enhance graduate education with the use of technology and to expland interdepartmental and interprofessional/interdisciplinary creativity and collaboration through the use of technology. 
Susan Hyndman, EdD, RN Director, RN/BA Nursing Program Sue has been at CSS since 2004. She is an associate professor and Chair of the Non-Traditional Nursing Department, which includes the RN to BA Nursing Program. Sue has been a nurse educator for over 30 years and has a Master's in Maternal-Child Nursing. Her interest in serving as faculty lead for the RN/BA Nursing Program is to expand RN student experience with the use of technology in their nursing practice. T Lee Gustafson, Ph.D., L.G.S.W Social Work
Lee is the program director and Chair of the Department of Social work. He joing the faculty at The College of St. Scholasatica in 2004. His professional practice area of special interests are issues of adolescent mental health. His interest in serving as a faculty lead stems from many years of use and research of technology, both inthe classroom and in social work practice.
Madonna LeBlanc, MA, RHIA Health Informatics and Information Management
Madonna has been an Assistant Professor in the HIIM Department for nearly three years. Her professional practice area of special interests are data quality and medical legal. Her interest in serving as a faculty lead stems from advancing the role of technology in the HIIM field and to provide students with invaluable practical applications, preparing them for leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Lynda has been an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education the Physical Therapy Department for four years. Her professional practice area of special interests are neurology, especially spinal cord injury. Her interest in serving as a faculty lead stems from a lifelong interest in things mechanical and technical.
