  • Associate of ARTS or the MNTC or a BA/BS Degree are required for Admission
  • Associate Degree Articulation Agreements:
Minnesota (MN): The College accepts the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) (after 1998) as equivalent to and satisfying the College's lower division general education requirements with the exception that transferring students must complete a Religious Studies course or equivalent. The Religious Studies equivalent can be completed at another institution prior to enrolling into the College.

Wisconsin (WI): The College accepts all Associate Degrees awarded by the University of Wisconsin System and the University College System as satisfying the CSS general education lower division requirements with the exception of the Religious Studies requirement, if not already satisfied.

Michigan (MI): The College accepts all Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees awarded by the State of Michigan's community college system as satisfying the CSS general education lower division requirements with the exception of the Religious Studies requirement, if not already satisfied.

In addition, the College accepts completion of the MACROA curriculum as satisfying CSS general education lower division requirements with the exception of the Religious Studies requirement, if not already satisfied, and eight (8) additional general education requirements to be completed at CSS.

Note: Only credit from courses in which a grade of 'C' or higher will transfer into the College.

  • Baccalaureate Degrees:

Students who transfer to CSS who have already completed a baccalaureate degree have the following options:

Those who have a BA Degree:

    1. Earn a "second major" by completing the requirements for a particular major at CSS.
    2. Earn a "second major" by completing two (2) CSS general education requirements, religious studies and upper division writing and completing the requirements for a particular major.

Those who have a BS Degree:

    1. Earn a "second major" by completing the requirements for a particular major at CSS.
    2. Earn a "second degree" by completing CSS general education requirements and requirements for a particular major.

In either case, transcripts will be evaluated on a course by course basis with courses grade below a C not being transferred into CSS.
