Occcupational Therapy Clinic

The Occupational Therapy Program at The College of St. Scholastica has an Occupational Therapy Clinic. This clinic is designed to give students a supervised "hands-on" opportunity to work directly with adults and children as part of their occupational therapy coursework. The goal of the clinic is to provide a community service to individuals who may not be eligible for OT services, are uninsured or underinsured, or who have limits on their insurance coverage. The clinic's purpose is to support a client's existing programming. The clinic is not designed to replace or compete with existing services in the community.

The Occupational Therapy Clinic offers two separate clinics. There is an Adult Clinic offered Fall Semester and a Pediatric Clinic offered Spring Semester.

The Mission of the Occupational Therapy Clinic is to:

Provide occupational therapy students with supervised opportunities to interact directly with individuals having a variety of diagnoses.

Provide a community service to individuals who may not be eligible for occupational therapy services, who are uninsured or underinsured or who have limits on their insurance coverage.

Advance the knowledge of occupational therapy through research.

Referral Procedures:

Anyone may access the services of the clinic. To schedule an appointment for an evaluation or to inquire about therapy services, call (218) 723-5967.

Fees:

A nominal clinic access fee is charged to offset the operating costs of the clinic. A scholarship program is available for those who cannot afford the fee. Services are not covered by insurance.
