Mark Rubin, Esq.
Mr. Rubin is an Assistant County Attorney in the St. Louis Count y Attorney's Office in Duluth. He practices in the area of criminal litigation. Mr. Rubin also is a frequent presenter and faculty member at various nationwide trial advocacy courses. He has also practiced as an attorney in the areas of civil litigation, admiralty law, administrative law, zoning matters and criminal defense. He co-authored Legal Consideration in Cases of Child Abuse for the Journal of Primary Care and authored Law of Arrest with Warrent for the Minnesota County Attorneys Association Training Manual. Mr. Rubin received his undergraduate degree from the College of St. Scholastica and his law degree from the Hamline University School of Law. He was involved in the establishment of the First Witness Child Sexual Abuse Resource Center and was founding chair of the board of that organization. He served on the Department of Human Services Statewide Task Force on Child Protection. He is a member of the National District Attorneys Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the Minnesota County Attorneys Association and the Duluth Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Rubin is a former trustee and vice chair of the College of St. Scholastica Board of Trustees. He is a board member for the Sacred Heart Music Center and a participant in the Duluth Community Foundation-Millenium Group Civlity Project. He was a 2004 recipient of the First Witness Community Service Award.
