Jill Eichenwald, Esq.
Ms. Eichenwald is an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Duluth, practicing in the area of criminal litigation. She also is the Pre-Law Advisory Board Chair and an adjunct instructor at the College of St. Scholastica. Ms. Eichenwald received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the College of St. Scholastica, and her law degree from the Hamline University School of Law. While at Hamline she was the Managing editor of the Journal of Public Law and Policy. She also was on the Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) Board and was a founding member of the Minnesota Loan Repayment Assistant Pregrom (MN-LRAP) board. Ms. Eichenwald has been employed as an associate attorney in a small employment law firm, as a judicial law clerk and has had a solo practice in which she practiced in the areas of family and criminal law. Ms. Eichenwald is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and has chaired the Duluth New Lawyers and the Minnesota State Bar Association Convention Committee. She has served on the South St. Louis County Domestic Violence Task Force and as a diversity training facilitator for the court system.
