Kris Jackson

Kris Jackson

Kris Jackson, who graduated in December 2006 with a BA in Business Communications, said that both the professors and the classes exceeded his expectations and made for an exceptional experience. He says that he honestly wouldn't mind taking another course, even after graduating.

Tammy Ostrander, who was both a professor and advisor to Kris, was his favorite professor. He says her class, Argumentation, was tough, but he enjoyed going and learning as much as possible. He says she challenges her students to do their best because she knows they can achieve more.

Kris said he also enjoyed having Julie Ahasay, Brad Gangnon, and Ed Smith as professors. They are what made his college experience worthwhile. Kris liked Julie because she knows how to relate to all of her students and her classes were more of a conversation than a lecture. He says she made learning fun. Although Brad's class, Persuasion, wasn't easy by any means, Kris liked having him for a professor because he left a lot for his students to figure out and that made him want to learn more. Kris liked having Ed because he liked to joke in class. Kris says he laughed every day when he had Ed's class, but that helped him to understand the topics better. Kris says that the memories he has gained have stuck in his mind and he will never forget them.

Kris's favorite classes were Sports Writing and Public Relations. He said the classes made him look forward to his senior year. He learned a lot from both classes because he was able to interact with his classmates, which is how he learns best.
