Merry Renn Vaughan

Merry Renn Vaughan, who is the theatre director, has a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis on directing and producing and a self-designed MA in Theatre Arts, both of which are from the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Currently she is a PhD student and will have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies by 2009.
Before teaching at CSS, Merry was a radio personality on the KISS morning show with a friend, which she said was a lot of fun. She also did overnight voice-overs on another radio station. Unfortunately her convenient store "career" was short-lived because she kept telling the customers that smoking was bad for them.
When Merry is able to find free time between teaching full-time, being a full-time student and a full-time parent she loves watching movies and reading novels. She loves almost anything Stephen King writes and admits to loving the Harry Potter series and reads them cover-to-cover the weekend they come out. She also loves listening to audio books when she goes on trips or on her commute to work. She especially loves listening to A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. Merry also enjoys taking photos.
Merry has also been a Girl Scout leader for ten years and has coached both little league baseball and softball. She loves watching her kid's sporting events. In addition, her family is very active in their church and they are friends with the pastor and his family.
