
Bois Forte Distance Learning Site Highlights
- All required social work courses are delivered on the Bois Forte reservation or via distance-education strategies.
- Small class size allows for increased personal attention and student support by faculty.
- The program accepts Minnesota transfer credits in a seamless plan through community college partnerships.
- Depending on the number of college transfer credits, students may complete the program on a full-time basis in three or four semesters. Students may enroll in either fall or sprign semesters on a ful or part-time basis. Some courses are sequenced and require fall enrollment.
- The program offers course planning that relates to students with paraprofessional backgrounds.
- There are course electives in areas of child and family welfare, aging, immigration, and child/adolescent mental health.
- The program is designed to meet the needs of adult learners through convenient course scheduling and creative teaching methods.
- There are opportunities for full or part-time study.
