The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), is a forum for Occupational Therapy students to promote the awareness of occupational therapy, become involved in activities of the College and the community, and assist in the professional development of Occupational Therapy students.
SOTA meetings are held twice per month. One meeting each month will be for business, and the other a professional development and education activity. Meetings are scheduled biweekly on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Science 3106, during the 2012 Fall Semester. Students interested in OT are welcome at the social and educational events.
Annual events include Backpack Awareness, an OT open house in April, the March of Dimes walk, and attendance at the AOTA convention.
Students who desire more information should see the pre-OT and OT sites on Blackboard. Any students who desire access may contact Karen Hatfield, Administrative Assistant, at khatfiel@css.edu or (218)-723-6099 for access.
