Why did you choose St. Scholastica?
I like the atmosphere at St. Scholastica. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I like the very strong health science programs that St. Schoalstica has to offer.
Why did you choose your major?
I enjoy helping people. Learning how the human body works has always interested me. Occupational therapy allows me to help people overcome obstacles and better their lives.
Do you participate in any extracurricular activities; if so, why?
I am a member of College Democrats. This year I was able to be part of the Obama campaign, and it was a wonderful experience. I have been able to work with others through my passion for politics. The group was able to see President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Al Franken.
What are your post-graduation plans or goals?
After I graduate I hope to find a job as an Occupational Therapist. Occupational Therapy offers numerous options for careers. I am interested in pediatrics or working in a hand therapy clinic.
What's your favorite class? And who is your favorite professor?
My favorite class so far is Human Anatomy and Physiology. Dr. Cizadlo is one of the best professors around. Learning how the human body works is fascinating. Cadaver labs are interesting too!
Advice for prospective students?
