"Coming to St. Scholastica was the best choice of my life! I heard great things about the education program here, but didn't really know what to expect. After getting involved, I realized how true the things I heard were. St. Scholastica gets students involved in classrooms almost every semester. I feel that this, along with the classes taken, were very beneficial and prepared me in the best possible way to become a successful teacher."

"The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book," as an unknown author so wisely states. This is probably the best reflection of my experience in the Education Program at St. Scholastica. Sure, I was given plenty of statistics and techniques and research findings to form a firm foundation, but I was also taught how to teach from the heart. I was taught, by example and by experience, how to become a true, lifelong teacher through concepts like reflection, and in developing characteristics like compassion, an appreciation of diversity, and patience. All in all, my positive experience in the Education Program here has not only solidified my decision to be a teacher, but helped me grow into the kind of teacher students need to learn things more important than what is in any textbook."

"As I look back over my time here at CSS, I find myself sad to leave. I came to Scholastica as a PSEO student during my senior year in high school. Having just spent my junior year at another school, I found CSS to be welcoming and supportive. My professors really cared about my education and me as a person. Each semester as I progressed and grew as a teacher, I became more connected to CSS. As a recent graduate, I recommend this university to any student interested in becoming a teacher. Your classes and field experiences will prepare you to be the best teacher you can be. The Education Department at CSS is awesome!"
