Native Teacher Program

"Discovering the Little Brothers" is a children's book that includes the Ojibwe culture and over 50 basic Ojibwe words and phrases. Follow a songbird on a journey to make a nest as he learns traditional teachings along the way. There are lesson plans to supplement the reading which guarantee flexible integration and further teachings. For those who are not familiar with the Ojibwe language, included is a pronunciation page to guide the speaker, as well as an Ojibwe index.
