What are the Technology Requirements?
Program participants need a high-speed internet connection, a headset, and a web cam. Either a Mac or PC will work.
What does this online community look like?
Program participants will build community through a highly engaged give-and-take process with peers and faculty. Faculty are available through a variety of technologies to interact and answer questions. An online advisor is available for additional support and community building.
I like to work alone. Is this a program for me?
The M.Ed. program is designed to build a community of learners in an online environment. Participants however, do not need to collaborate on all assignments.
How do I get my transcripts sent?
The Graduate Admissions office can request your transcripts from the St. Scholastica admissions office.
Can I transfer my graduate-level credits?
Yes, interested participants can transfer 6 credits from an accredited institution that are education related which will be applied towards the Professional Studies elective. Transfer credits must have been earned within 7 years.
