Why did you choose St. Scholastica?

I knew I wanted to attend St. Scholastica the second I stepped on campus. The welcoming environment, friendly faces, and beautiful campus made me feel like I was already home!

Why did you choose your major?

I have always enjoyed working with children and love the idea of being able to shape who they are!

Do you do extracurricular activities; if so, why?

I love extracurricular activities! They are a great way to get to know other students on campus, and they have provided me with many friendships!

What are your post-graduation plans or goals?

I plan on finding a job somewhere in the US teaching in an elementary classroom. I also plan on doing some writing in the future and hopefully publishing a book.

What's your favorite class? And who is your favorite professor?

My favorite class is Visual and Performing Arts Methods, which is taught by my favorite professor Rachel Payne.

Advice for prospective students?

Get involved! St. Schoalstica has so many opportunities for you to get involved, so take advantage of that! You will meet so many interesting people and take part in experiences that you will never forget.
