Foundation Courses. Foundation courses are required when students need additional work in statistics and/or writing, as determined by a score below 50th percentile in the respective section of the GMAT. Students meeting minimum GMAT levels are not required to take Foundation courses. The Writing Lab will be required of students by instructors in the writing Foundation class if additional work, beyond the Foundation class is required.

Personal Effectiveness & Professional Development. MBA students have the opportunity to stretch their skills in key areas of personal and professional performance through self-assessment activities, completing a one-credit seminar on leadership, personal effectiveness and professional development, and receiving support in achieving career goals through a CSS mentorship program with business executives and community leaders.

Capstone
Students choose to do their capstone as a Capstone Abroad (4 cr), a faculty-directed research project with an international or multi-cultural focus (4 cr) or a traditional academic thesis (6 cr). Students choosing the faculty-directed research project or thesis are required to take Continuing Enrollment: Final Research Project each semester until they complete their capstone paper.
