Joint program in Health Information Management and Information Technology Leadership
The healthcare industry is undergoing tremendous change with the growing demand for the electronic medical record. Organizations moving to the electronic medical record require a significant investment in information technology. These healthcare organizations need leaders that understand the health information field and have the ability to guide the organization through the use of information technology.
In response to this growing demand, The College of St. Scholastica offers a dual Master's degree in Health Information Management and Information Technology Leadership. This degree prepares students to lead organizations through the effort of integrating information technology in the healthcare field. Students will understand the information needs of healthcare organizations and how to lead the efforts to integrate information technology and transform the organization.
The dual Master's degree option is a 52 credit graduate program consisting of courses in the Health Information Management and IT Leadership programs. The program is delivered primarily online so you have the flexibility and convenience you need to continue your career.
