Students in this ensemble prepare and perform rhythms from percussion communities around the world. Many of these rhythms would be associated with communal dancing and/or singing, but we believe the rhythms are equally powerful and enthralling when performed by themselves.
The ensemble is open to all college students, regardless of major or experience [M. 5-6 & Th. 12-12:50] and provides consistent opportunities to engage in community outreach and touring.

Past performances: Elementary Schools (Lester Park, Congdon Park, Homecroft, Piedmont, Grant Nettleton, Lowell, and Kenwood Edison, Holy Rosary, St. John's, St. Michael's), Congdon Creek Preschool, Northwood's Children's Home (East & West campuses), Lincoln Park and Morgan Park Middle Schools, Raleigh and Northstar Academies, CHUM benefit, Annual performances for CSS's United for African Festival/Haitian Benefit/Culture Night/Admissions Open House(s)/Jam sessions in the Union, Benedictine Health Center & Westwood Community Home, and Duluth Battle of the Bands.
