School of Arts and Letters Vision Statement
The School of Arts and Letters will be a center for liberal learning in the College. It will become a locus of creative and scholarly work in the Benedictine Tradition for faculty and students and a model of interdisciplinary collaboration. The School will build on its strong academic programs to attract more students to its majors and minors and work to extend their learning beyond campus. It will encourage student and faculty excellence, compassion, creativity, and conscience.
