Why did you choose St. Scholastica?

The campus itself is beautiful! When I stepped onto campus the first time I felt an immediate connection; almost as if I was home. Scholastica has a very warm, welcoming environment.

Why did you choose your major?

Originally I was an OT major, but with the help of professors here at Scholastica I realized where my true strength and passion was and that lead me to a major in Public Relations/Advertising.

Do you do extracurricular activities; if so, why?

I enjoy all kinds of events going on here on campus! Participating the events is a good way to stay active on campus and get to be more involved with others on campus.

What are your post-graduation plans or goals?

My post-graduation goal would be to work with a MLB team in Public Relations/Advertsing while also persuing my dream of becoming an American Sign Language interpreter.

What's your favorite class? And who is your favorite professor?

It is hard to pick one favorite, but studying American Sign Language is my passion. As for my favorite professor I would have to say Julie Ahasay and Monica Butche. But many of the professors here on campus put forth a very strong effort to be positive and influential role models to the students.

Advice for prospective students?

Get involved on campus; make an effort to meet new people! Don't be afriad to try new things and don't worry -- everyone is in the same boat you are! You're in it together!
