AHRQ Health Information Technology Public Web site
As part of its recent conference on quality and health information technology, the Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ) has created a public Web site for those looking to increase their knowledge of health information technology both on a national level and local areas. The public can access this Web site, which also has links to AHRQs various tool kits.

Quackwatch: Your Guide to Health Fraud, Quackery and Intelligent Decisions

An opininated site, but it includes references to research supporting all statements made.  The stated mission of  Quackwatch is: "Quackwatch, Inc., a member of Consumer Federation of America, is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to combat health-related frauds, myths, fads, and fallacies. Founded by Dr. Stephen Barrett in 1969 as the Lehigh Valley Committee Against Health Fraud, it was incorporated in 1970 and assumed its current name in 1997. We operate with minimal expense, funded by profits from the sale of books. Our activities include: Investigating questionable claims, Answering inquiries, Distributing reliable publications, Reporting illegal marketing, Improving the quality of health information on the Internet, Attacking misleading advertising on the Internet."
