Offered in Traditional and Accelerated Evening formats, St. Scholastica's accounting program prepares students for careers in accounting and provides exceptionally strong preparation for the CPA and CMA exams.
St. Scholastica's Applied Economics program, offered in a Traditional format, provides training in a field that studies a braod variety of topics, including issues as small as how people decide what to do each day and issues as large as global warming.
Offered in Traditional and Online formats, Computer Science/Computer Information Systems at St. Scholastica is an innovative alternative to the computer science programs offered at many colleges and universities. Students learn current and emerging computer technologies and the means to apply these system technologies in solving organizational problems.
St. Scholastica's finance program, offered in a Traditional format, can be divided into the study of three areas: Financial Management, or the the study of how businesses manage funds; financial markets and institutions, or the study of money markets and capital markets; and investment, or the study of the techniques used to manage portfolios and provide financial planning.
The Management program at St. Scholastica is offered in Traditional, Accelerated Evening, and Online formats. The goal of the Management program at St. Scholastica is to prepare students for managerial careers in a wide range of organizations. The major emphasizes the human dimensions of management and teaches students how to apply theoretical concepts to the solution of real-world problems.
Offered in Traditional and Accelerated Evening formats, the marketing program helps students develop the knowledge and abilities needed to construct marketing strategies and activities. Marketing students will study topics including product design, customer relations, advertising, market research, marketing of services, marketing on the Internet, and creating strategic marketing plans.
Organizational Behavior, offered in Traditional and Accelerated Evening formats, is a program of interdisciplinary study, preparing students who wish to more fully understand the behaviors of people within organizations and the human aspects of management. It may be combined with elective study in management or other disciplines, and forms a foundation for students who are interested in managing organization change initiatives.
