In order to support faculty in their efforts to make full use of available technologies at The College of St. Scholastica, the Information Technologies Department offers many opportunities throughout the year.
Training is available upon request, and sessions covering a variety of technology topics and applications are usually held when three or more staff or faculty members express an interest in a given topic. The Information Technologies Web site offers more details on these technology training opportunities.
Blackboard/WebCT training, involving both technical and pedagogical components, is conducted by Sarah Bryans Bongey, Academic Technology Coordinator.
Blackboard/WebCT working sessions will often begin with a brief demonstration of a specific tool or feature and will be followed by an "open lab" work session.
