Minimum Recommendations for accessing Blackboard 9.1

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

A processor (CPU) with 1 GHz frequency or above.
Your computer should be capable of displaying at least 256 colors
Adapter for Ethernet connection (LAN) OR a wireless adapter (Wi-Fi).
10 GB hard disk drive.
512 MB Memory (RAM) or above
CD-ROM Drive or DVD-ROM
Sound Card w/Speakers

Standard Desktop Software
The College's standard desktop software is MS Office 2010. To ensure compatibility with your faculties software we strongly recommend that you use MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point for your assignments.

Access to the Internet

The school provides Internet accounts for students to use at hard-wired facilities on campus (the computer lab or in dorms). A letter is sent to every student explaining how to use the account. Separate accounts must be purchased from outside service providers to access the campus computers, Internet, e-mail, etc. from home or any off campus location via modem.
