ST. SCHOLASTICA'S PAUL L. BROWN TO SPEAK IN ST. CLOUD FEB. 26 ON BUILDING ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY

The College of St. Scholastica’s St. Cloud campus and the Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center present a morning with Dr. Paul L. Brown from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. The event will be at the Paramount, 913 W. St. Germain Street in St. Cloud.

Brown, a member of St. Scholastica's faculty, is an author and organizational development consultant. His presentation is entitled “Risk, Reward and the Use of Creativity: Building Your Organization’s Innovative Capacity.”

Brown was director of organizational development (OD) at KDV, a business and nonprofit consulting firm. He was also a senior consultant at the Richard E. Byrd Company, a leading OD consulting firm in the Twin Cities. He has held leadership positions in the manufacturing, service and retail industries and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He writes monthly columns for the St. Cloud Times and the Minnesota Organization Development Network newsletter. He is working on his second book, “Windows and Mirrors,” which focuses on accountability issues for managers and CEOs.

Brown earned a doctorate in organizational development and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He graduated summa cum laude with a BA in organizational behavior and communications at Concordia College, also in St. Paul.
