The Christian rock group Fee will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in the Mitchell Auditorium on The College of St. Scholastica campus. The Jeremy Sanoski Band will open for Fee. The performance is open to the public. There is no admission fee; however, donations of non-perishable food items are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Fee is a Christian rock and contemporary worship music band from Alpharetta, GA, named for the group's founder and front-man Steve Fee. The band is most known for their hit single, "All Because of Jesus," which peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Christian AC Chart, and at #14 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
"Our lives have gotten quite busy and we seem to make less time with God," said concert organizer and St. Scholastica senior Josie Johnson. "Having a Christian concert on campus will allow students to take a break and praise God in a fun, uplifting manner. We look forward to a great event!"
The concert is sponsored by St. Scholastica's InterVarsity Christian Fellowship group, Campus Ministry and Peer Ministry. Funding is provided by the Student Senate.
