Four students at The College of St. Scholastica will receive $2,500 information technology scholarships for the 2009/2010 academic year.
The scholarship money was provided by SunGard Corporation, made available when the College won the SunGard Higher Education Award for Institutional Performance in 2008. SunGard recognized St. Scholastica for using the company's data management software and services to increase efficiencies and productivity campus-wide.
Scholarships will be awarded to:
--Nathan Anderson, a computer science major at the College's St. Cloud campus.
--Rodney Bibeau, a graduate student earning his master's degree in information technology leadership.
--Dureeti Foge, a junior computer science major
--Kimona Kousins, a sophomore computer science and health information management major
