The College of St. Scholastica will host “Saints Helping Saints,” a student/alumni networking event, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11. The event will be held in the Great Lakes Ballroom at the Holiday Inn, 200 West First Street, in Duluth.

This is the third year the College has sponsored the event in Duluth. Planners anticipate that over sixty students will attend.

Forty alumni are expected to sign up to network with students. They represent professions that include, among others, management, accounting, health information, computer systems, nursing, social work and education.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for students to talk with alumni in a casual atmosphere about their experience in transitioning from school to work, what it means to be a professional, and their own job search,” said Mary Anderson, Career Services counselor at St. Scholastica.

Anderson says that students will also have the opportunity to participate in mock interviews and receive critiques of their resumes.

The event is cosponsored by St. Scholastica’s Career Services and Alumni Relations departments. For more information contact Mary Anderson, Career Services, at (218) 723-6436 or manders1@css.edu, or Carrie Emslander, Alumni Relations, at (218) 723-6034 or cemsland@css.edu.
