The Collegeville Consort will present a concert of early sacred choral music at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel on The College of St. Scholastica campus.
The concert features works by Johannes Ciconia, Josquin DesPrez, William Byrd, Hildegard von Bingen, and Heinrich Isaac.
Since 1998 the Collegeville Consort has performed early sacred music in liturgies, celebrations and concerts. The a cappella ensemble includes faculty from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.
The concert is sponsored by St. Scholastica's Music Department and the St. Scholastica Monastery.
