The College of St. Scholastica and Mesabi Range Community and Technical College are collaborating with Bois Forte to offer degree programs for local people. The program offers area students the opportunity to earn 2-4 year degrees in human services, chemical dependency counseling and social work.
The program is designed to meet the needs of adult learners through convenient course scheduling and locations, and creative teaching methods. There are opportunities for full or part-time study.

The meeting will offer information about human services and social work degrees and career opportunities, as well as basic financial aid options and procedures. Faculty and staff from both colleges will be available to offer information and answer questions.
People considering enrollment in the upcoming 2009-10 academic year will benefit from attending this session. The application deadline for American Indian Scholarships is July 1, 2009.
